Frontend

React

React is an open source JavaScript library, originally created at Meta, for building user interfaces out of reusable components that update efficiently when data changes.

What React is used for

React is used to build interactive web interfaces: dashboards, admin panels, customer portals, e-commerce storefronts, and single-page applications. Developers describe the UI as a tree of components, and React keeps the browser DOM in sync with application state. Because it is a library rather than a full framework, teams pair it with routers, data-fetching tools, and frameworks like Next.js or Remix depending on the project. Its component model also underpins React Native, which brings the same mental model to mobile apps.

Why it matters for business software

React has one of the largest ecosystems in frontend development, which lowers hiring risk and makes it easy to find well-maintained libraries for forms, tables, charts, and authentication. Component reuse shortens delivery time on large products, and the ecosystem's maturity means long-lived enterprise applications can be maintained for years without rewrites. For companies choosing a frontend stack, React is usually the safest default because of its talent pool and longevity.

How Wizcoder AI Labs uses it

React is a core part of our frontend stack. We build component-driven web applications through our React development services, usually with TypeScript for type safety and Next.js when server rendering or SEO matters. See our full frontend technology stack or hire a frontend developer.
